Matrix Design&Build - Mute the Walls!

Mute the walls!

Daniel and Shaun wanted a simple re-decoration but it was a little more involved as the old lath and plaster walls and ceilings of their Victorian terrace in Crouch End needed to be completely reboarded and replastered.

“To be honest, we weren’t initially impressed by Geoff’s portfolio as it is a little more overstated than we like but we are both so pleased that we decided to appoint Matrix Design & Build. Every member of their team has been a pleasure to deal with and Geoff’s hands on approach has been invaluable. He ended up spending long hours with us and we really appreciate that. The finish is understated and exactly what we were looking for. We had the floor re-sanded and decided to choose paint from Farrow & Ball, all a bit dull some might say but our art work lifts the rooms and we don’t like clutter”.

Matrix Design & Build worked with a very modest budget and the project took just two weeks to complete. “Our decorators worked late into the evening and took advantage of the fact that both sets of neighbours were away on holiday” says Geoff George. “Farrow and Ball paint is fantastic to work with and their range of colours blend well with Edwardian and Victorian interiors.”

“We are working our way through the house and hope to do the kitchen next so no doubt, Geoff and his team will be working their magic.”
